Member Spotlight!

Our members have a variety of interests, hobbies, talents, and passions. It’s always exciting to watch them discover a new activity and commit themselves to advancing a skill. Hans is a junior at Glens Falls High School, and has been a member at the YC for several years. We have had the pleasure of watching Hans find a love, and a real eye, for photography. 

Photographs are a great way to shine a spotlight on some of your favorite things. Hans is often fishing and enjoying the great outdoors, so it’s only fitting that he takes incredible pictures of nature. No one can make the budding trees outside the Youth Center look better than Hans can! Another thing that has popped up in his photos, is the YC itself. 

A standout in his photography class (he is humble, but we will gladly brag on his behalf), Hans recently had a photo selected to be featured in The Hyde Museum’s High School Juried Show! This means his picture will hang on the walls in an exhibit through the end of May! We are so excited for Hans, and we hope that you are able to make the show! Our members can do anything they set their minds to, and we are so lucky to be their cheerleaders along the way.
