How Molly Makes Staying In Fun!
Winter can be a hard season for many of us between the freezing cold temperatures and fewer hours of daylight each day. In a typical year we may fill our free time by visiting with friends, going to the movies, or even just window shopping at the mall. With the ongoing pandemic, and the continued pleas to stay home, it can sometimes be overwhelming, and increase those feelings of cabin fever. Our staff has compiled a list of some of our favorite ways to stay home and safe during the pandemic! Last, but not least- Molly!
Q-What’s your favorite movie?
Molly: Braveheart
Q-What snack do you love to have while watching a movie?
Molly: In a movie theater my go-to snack is Junior Mints— delicious and minty fresh! But when I’m just comfy on my own couch I like to have some Tostitos and salsa and sometimes just a full course meal like spaghetti and meatballs or homemade gluten-free Chinese food!
Q-Buttered popcorn or kettle corn?
Molly: Butter all the way!
Q-Favorite board game?
Molly: 13 Dead End Drive
Q-On a lazy weekend at home, are you someone who stays in your pj’s all day or do you put on “real” clothes?
Molly: I guess I fall somewhere in-between; I usually wear workout clothes so I’m not complete bumming it, but also feel ready to conquer the world(or my next workout lol)
Q-What’s a book you have read that you just couldn’t put down?
Molly: Oh wow… this is a tough question. I LOVE books and there have been countless that I’ve been unable to put down so I’m going to give you all a top five:
- Where the Crawdads Sing
- Harry Potter
- Little Fires Everywhere
-Everything I Never Told You
-When Breath Becomes Air
Q-What’s your favorite show to binge watch?
Molly: Ugh. Another difficult one. I have to do a top seven because I literally cannot choose!
- Grey’s Anatomy
- Gilmore Girls
- Game of Thrones
- Parenthood
- Sons of Anarchy
- This Is Us
-Pretty Little Lies
Q-Are there any projects you’re working on at home right now?
Molly: Finishing my book. Trying to get in at least 30 minutes per day!
Q-Slippers, socks, or barefoot?
Molly: Socks AND slippers. I’m always cold and—most importantly— my kitchen floor always has some cheerios scattered around after my kids have breakfast or a snack. Have you ever stepped on cereal? It’s not pleasant.
Q-What is your go-to comfort meal for a night in?
Molly: I would say gluten free pizza or rice with pork potstickers, all gluten free of course.
Q-Bake cookies or buy cookies?
Molly: Bake. Nothing beats eating them fresh out of the oven.
Q-Most used app when you’re relaxing at home?
Molly: Instagram
