Tidal Wave Auto Spa in South Glens Falls Partners with The Glens Falls Area Youth Center for Annual Charity Day Event on September 20th!
Tidal Wave Auto Spa is pleased to announce its 16th annual Charity Day, benefiting local charity and non-profit organizations, will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024. As part of the company’s commitment to giving back, Tidal Wave will donate 100% of wash proceeds made across their footprint during the one-day philanthropic event.
This year, Tidal Wave Auto Spa’s South Glens Falls location at 168 Saratoga Ave. is pleased to partner with The Glens Falls Area Youth Center. The Glens Falls Area Youth Center is a 501(c)(3)non-profit organization that serves disadvantaged youth (5th to 12th graders) throughout Warren, Washington and Saratoga Counties through a wide variety of educational, recreational and life-skills programs (including after school snacks and dinner each day), completely free of charge. The Youth Center will receive 50% of all proceeds made at this location during the September 20th event. The remaining 50% will be donated to the company’s longtime corporate partner, Annandale Village, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing progressive life assistance to adults with developmental disabilities.
Tidal Wave’s Charity Day event won the company their first gold Brandon Hall Group Excellence Award for Best Initiative for Philanthropy and Corporate Giving in 2023. Over the event’s 15-year history, Tidal Wave has donated over $1,360,000, with over $360,000 raised in 2023. This year is set to be the company’s largest Charity Day yet, with 269 locations partnering with over 250 charitable organizations across their footprint.
